The continued advancement of manufacturing practices and technology means that built up felt remains a popular choice for waterproofing.

Voland Roofing has installed the commonly three layer waterproofing system since 1976. Installation methods have changed in recent years eliminating the need for the use of hot bitumen and therefore improving health and safety practice.

The bituminous based sheets, reinforced with either polyester or glass fibre, also have the increased elasticity and strength due to the addition of APP or SBS polymer molecules.

Because of its robust nature of the product it is suitable for use in a variety of situations including green roofing and terraces (incorporating paving slabs, ballast or timber decking).
